Abandonment Issues explores 20 historic locations and the drastically different paths they’ve taken. Ten stand abandoned, places with dark, haunted histories that are slowly disappearing through neglect, decay, vandalism, and time. Their stories remain, but the buildings that hold them may not.

The "Haunting Of" series is about true paranormal investigations in the U.S. conducted and led by Monique Toosoon and Rob Gutro with the assistance of other professionals in the paranormal field. Rob Gutro is a medium, pet medium, paranormal investigator and a meteorologist who explains the paranormal using the science of energy. He applies science to earthbound entities he calls "ghosts," and "spirits," which he defines as those who have crossed over. Monique Toosoon is New England’s paranormal drag queen and paranormal investigator with a sensitivity to earthbound ghosts and a wizard with many pieces of technical equipment. Together, they will take you to some of the most haunted places, where they get to know the ghosts intimately, and discover secrets that have been hidden from the world for decades. Each book provides a history of the location with photographs and sometimes sketches Rob makes of ghosts he connects with. Reading this series is like going on the investigation with them.
